Beautiful antique ring (1950) from Balochistan, crafted in smooth Silver and set with an engraved Carnelian.
As additional decoration, three colored glass stones—very rare at the time—are set into the band.

These signet rings were used to seal documents, leave signatures, or simply show the wearer’s power.

Each of these rings belongs to a specific family, history, and social-political status: the larger, more intricate, and rarer the materials, the more powerful the wearer was in society.
